Cardedu is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Ogliastra in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 80 kilometres (50 mi) northeast of Cagliari and about 15 kilometres (9 mi) south of Tortolì.
Cardedu borders the following municipalities: Bari Sardo, Gairo, Jerzu, Lanusei, Osini, Tertenia.
