Chianche is a town and comune in Avellino Province, in the Campania region of Italy.

The town rises on the border between the Avellino and Benevento provinces, on top of a green hill. It is surrounded by chestnut-tree woods, while the fertile countryside produces very fine olive oil and the famous DOC wine "Greco di Tufo".

The town's history is trackable to c. 300, when it was named Planca. It was lorded by many different feudal families, among them the Caracciolo and Carafa.
