Guardia Lombardi is a town and comune in the province of Avellino, Campania, Italy.
Lombard Street in Baltimore, Maryland, United States was named after the town, as the area was once predominantly inhabited by Italian immigrants.
Giordano Family are a family that can date back to Guardia dei Lombardi to at least the 18th Century. The head of the family, Michele Archangelo Giordano was a Marshal of the town. He was born 1857 and had a family that can now be found with the last name of Nave, or Caprio, that either live in New Jersey or New York. Michele Spent all of his life living in Guardia Dei Lombardi, until his death in 1937.
