The Communist Party (Serbian: Комунистичка партија / Komunistička partija, KP) is a communist party in Serbia. It was in Belgrade on 28 November 2010 by uniting two smaller communist organizations, the NKPS and the Social-Democrats of Novi Sad.
Its president is Josip Joška Broz, grandson of the former president of Yugoslavia and the SKJ, Josip Broz Tito, the Secretary General is Nataša Radulović.
Organisation
At the head of the party is the President, and next in the hierarchy is the General Secretary who runs party's Central Committee. The party is split into committees made up of a minimum of 5 members led by Committee Secretaries. There is a youth organization within the party, the Communist Youth of Serbia. All adult citizens can be members of the party.
Elections
The Communist Party competed in the 2012 parliamentary elections independently, receiving 28,977 votes or 0.74% of the popular vote, failing to enter parliament. However, for the 2016 parliamentary elections, it joined a party-list led by the Socialist Party of Serbia and entered Parliament.
