Daniëlle van de Donk (Dutch pronunciation: [daːniˈɛlə vɑn də dɔnk]; born 5 August 1991) is a Dutch football midfielder who plays for English club Arsenal Ladies and the Netherlands national team. She previously played from 2008 to 2012 for Willem II and VVV-Venlo of the Eredivisie, from 2012 to 2015 for BeNe League club PSV/FC Eindhoven and 2015 for Kopparbergs/Göteborg FC in the Swedish Damallsvenskan.

Club career

After three successful seasons with PSV/FC Eindhoven in the BeNe League, van de Donk transferred to Swedish Damallsvenskan club Kopparbergs/Göteborg FC in June 2015.[2][3]

On 20 November 2015, Arsenal has reported that Daniëlle was signed to play for the club at the English FA WSL.[4]

International career

She is a member of the Netherlands national team, for whom she first played in the 2010 City of São Paulo Tournament against Mexico. She scored her first official goal in 2013 European Championship qualifying against Serbia.[5]

In June 2013 national team coach Roger Reijners selected Van de Donk in the Netherlands squad for UEFA Women's Euro 2013 in Sweden.[6] She retained her national team place during the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup in Canada, again under the direction of Reijners.[7]
