Daniel Rioli (born 16 April 1997) is an Australian rules footballer playing for the Richmond Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL).
Rioli was drafted by the Richmond Football Club with the 15th selection in the 2015 national draft.[1] Daniel is the fourth Rioli to play in the AFL, following in the footsteps of uncles, Dean, 1982 Norm Smith medallist, Maurice, and four-time premiership player Cyril.[2] Rioli was drafted from the North Ballarat Rebels after boarding at St Patricks College in Ballarat.[3] He played the under 18 championships with the Northern Territory and played his junior football with St Mary's Football Club in the Northern Territory Football League (NTFL).[4]
AFL Career
Rioli debuted in round 1, 2016 against Carlton at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.[5]
