Daphne Groeneveld (born on 24 December 1994)[2] is a Dutch model best known for appearing on the 2010 December/January cover of Vogue Paris alongside Tom Ford.

Career

Groeneveld was born in Leiderdorp and was discovered by her first agent, who asked if she had ever considered modelling.[3] While her first runway season was the Fall/Winter 2010 season in Milan, her career took off after her Fall/Winter 2011 season. She was awarded the title of Best Dutch Model at the Marie Claire Netherlands Fashion Awards in 2011.

Her print advertising campaigns include Miu Miu Eyewear F/W 10, Givenchy S/S 11, Versace for H&M F/W 11, Louis Vuitton F/W 11, Calvin Klein Sheer Beauty Fragrance S/S 12 and Dior Addict Parfum.[4]

Groeneveld has appeared on the covers of Vogue Paris,[5] i-D, Numero, Vogue Japan, Vogue Russia, Vogue Korea, LOVE and V.

She has walked for designers such as Anna Sui, Chanel, Dior, Donna Karan, Emilio Pucci, Etro, Fendi, Gucci, Jason Wu, John Galliano, Karl Lagerfeld, Lanvin, Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs, Prada, Roberto Cavalli, Shiatzy Chen, and Versace.

As of August 2013 she is ranked 23rd on Models.com's top 50 models, alongside model Lindsey Wixson.

She was the face of H&M's F/W12 collection.[6]

She played with the contemporary artist Jan Lisman in a short movie for the Met Ball called ART COUTURE.
