Drashti Dhami is an actress, model and dancer. She is recognized for her roles in the shows Geet - Hui Sabse Parayi, Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon and Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani.[1]
Career
Dhami began her career in modeling with print and television advertisements before debuting in the entertainment industry with her appearance in the music video for "Saiyyan Dil Mein Aana Re". Her first role was in the Star One show Dill Mill Gayye, where she portrayed Dr. Muskaan. She then appeared as the female lead on the Star One show Geet - Hui Sabse Parayi.
Dhami also made a brief appearance through her dance performance for the show Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha. She is also the winner of the 6th season of Indian dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa alongside choreographer Salman Yusuff Khan.[2]
She then played the titular role in the Colours TV serial Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon
Currently she is dong role of Rani Gayatri in ZEE TV show Ek tha Raja Ek Thi Rani.
She is also seen in web series calle 'I Don't Watch TV' along with many TV celebrities .
Personal life
Drashti's sister in law is Suhasi Goradia Dhami who is an actress in TV and married to her brother Jai.
On 21 February 2015, Dhami married businessman Neeraj Khemka.[3][4]
