East Garforth railway station serves Garforth in West Yorkshire, England. It lies on the Selby Line, operated by Northern 8 miles (13 km) east of Leeds. The station was opened by Metro (West Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive) on 1 May 1987, to serve the new housing developments in the area.

The station is an unstaffed halt, and has wooden platforms. It is located around 0.5 miles (800 m) from the main Garforth station, and all trains that stop at East Garforth serve Garforth as well. It is fully accessible for wheelchair users.

Services

Monday to Saturday daytime there is a half-hourly service to Leeds with most services going beyond towards Bradford Interchange. Evenings and Sundays the service is hourly.

Eastbound there is an hourly service to York and Selby respectively during Monday to Saturday daytimes. Evenings and Sundays there is an hourly service to York.

Services operated by CrossCountry and First TransPennine Express pass the station without stopping and one service operated by Virgin Trains East Coast passes the station without stopping as well.
