Everton Kempes Gonçalves dos Santos, better known as Kempes (Rio de Janeiro, 3 September 1982) is a Brazilian football forward who plays for Chapecoense in Série A.
Career
Kempes played for 14 clubs between 2004 and 2015, with spells across Brazilian football with Paraná, Vitória (ES), Sertãozinho, 15 de Novembro, Ceará (once permanently, once on loan), Caxias, Ipatinga, Criciúma, Portuguesa, Novo Hamburgo (on loan), América (MG) (on loan) before moving to Japan to play for Cerezo Osaka on loan, making 32 appearances and scoring 8 goals, before joining JEF United permanently in 2013. He returned to Brazil in 2015 to sign for Joinville; his 12th Brazilian club.[1] On 16 December 2015, Kempes was on the move again as he joined Chapecoense.[2]

Honours
Kempes was a part of the Portuguesa squad who won the 2011 Série B title. Two years later he won the J2 League Top Goalscorer award during his time with JEF United when he scored 22 goals in 38 appearances.
