José Gildeixon Clemente de Paiva (born 3 September 1987), commonly known as Gil, is a Brazilian footballer who plays for Chapecoense, on loan from Coritiba, as a defensive midfielder.

Club career

Gil started at URT, in 2005, but that year he went to Santa Cruz. In 2006, he was hired by Mogi Mirim, where stayed till 2008, when he was contracted for Guaratinguetá, playing well, and Vitória secured his services in 2009.

Gil didn't play so well in Vitoria and at the end of 2009 he was released, and at this time he was contracted by Santo André for the 2010 season.

In 2011, Gil went to Ponte Preta. He played very well at Ponte Preta and was signed by Coritiba in April. Gil debuted in Coritiba in Campeonato Brasileiro, replacing Tcheco in a victory against Ceará.[1]
