• Westernmost Point — Punta de la Orchilla, El Hierro, Canary Islands at 27°43′N 18°09′W / 27.717°N 18.150°W
• Easternmost Point — La Mola Island, Mahón, Menorca at 39°52′N 4°19′E / 39.867°N 4.317°E
• Highest Point — El Teide 3,718 m, Tenerife
• Point furthest from the coast (Iberian Pole of Inaccessibility) 39°59′N 4°31′W / 39.99°N 4.51°W

The centre of this area is reputedly assigned to Cerro de los Ángeles in Getafe near Madrid.
