Filmfare Award for New Face of the Year
The Filmfare Award for New Face of the Year, sponsored by Lux, was introduced by Filmfare as part of its annual Filmfare Awards for Hindi films to recognise the most promising new face that year. The first award was given in 1989. The category was removed after 1995. This award has no relation to Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut
