Freewire is an internet based television service (IPTV) originally specifically targeted at students through University portals and networks. Freewire Television now reaches around 40,000 students at a variety of locations in the country, and in the process became the largest IPTV service ahead of BT Vision and TalkTalk TV. Freewire Television is available at around 100,000 student rooms across the UK.[1]
Success within the IPTV market has led Freewire to expand into telecommunications and broadband.
