Gajner is a small town located 37 kilometers from the city of Kanpur in the Kanpur Dehat district of the state of Uttar Pradesh, India.
History
Gajner is very ancient town.It was founded by Kushanas. In 1895 it was visited by Thanvi[Deobandi teacher].Gajner is a connecting link of kanpur, Ghatampur, Musanagar and Pukhrayan. it is a main crossing of all above places.
Geography
The land comes in doab region of Uttar Pradesh.Some parts here are rugged and are not suited to cultivation and agriculture.Gajner is 129m above sea level.
Climate
Climate is very tropical and in summers it reaches to around 49.5 C.There is very scanty rainfall here.
