Garbno [ˈɡarbnɔ] (German Laggarben) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Barciany, within Kętrzyn County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland, close to the border with the Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia.[1] It lies approximately 14 kilometres (9 mi) north-west of Barciany, 27 km (17 mi) north-west of Kętrzyn, and 73 km (45 mi) north-east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (East Prussia).
