Garo: Makai Retsuden (牙狼〈GARO〉-魔戒烈伝-, lit. "Garo: History of Makai") is an omnibus television series which features the cast of the several live action series produced along the years in the Garo franchise, celebrating its 10th anniversary.[1] It began broadcast on April 8, 2016.[2][3]

Setting

The series is a collection of individual episodes featuring characters from the various installments of the Garo franchise, each of them narrated by Yukijiro Hotaru, reprising his role as Gonza Kurahashi.[4]

In the first half, a den of Horrors is in alert when they hear news that another hideout was cleared out by a Makai Knight, unaware that danger is closer to them than they think. In the second half, Mayuri runs an errand for Gonza at Anna's tea shop, where she learns more about a Makai Priest's duties and customs.
