Gary Bizzette Mattocks was an American football coach in the United States.
Coaching career
Mattocks was the head college football coach for the Elon Phoenix located in Elon, North Carolina. He held that position for the 1965 and 1966 seasons.[1] His coaching record at Elon was 3 wins and 17 losses. As of the conclusion of the 2013 season, this ranks him #18 at Elon in total wins and #19 at the school in winning percentage (.150).[2][3]
An alumnus of East Carolina University, Mattocks was later employed by the Central Intelligence Agency. He lives in Southern Pines, North Carolina.[4]
