Ghorsala is a census town in Raghunathganj I CD Block in Jangipur subdivision of Murshidabad district in the Indian state of West Bengal.
Demographics
As of 2001 India census,[1] Ghorsala had a population of 6252. Males constitute 50% of the population and females 50%. Ghorsala has an average literacy rate of 50%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 56%, and female literacy is 44%. In Ghorsala, 19% of the population is under 6 years of age.
