Kankuria is a census town in Samserganj CD Block in Jangipur subdivision of Murshidabad district in the Indian state of West Bengal.
Demographics
As of 2001 India census,[1] Kankuria had a population of 27,372. Males constitute 50% of the population and females 50%. Kankuria has an average literacy rate of 31%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 39%, and female literacy is 23%. In Kankuria, 23% of the population is under 6 years of age.
