Great Horton (population 16,202 - 2001 UK census) is a Ward in Bradford Metropolitan District in the county of West Yorkshire, England. The population of the ward increased to 17,683 at the 2011 Census.[1]
The ward covers the area west of Bradford ring road and east of the village of Clayton. The areas covered include Great Horton, Scholemore, Paradise Green, Lidget Green and Pickles Hill. Horton Bank Bottom, Horton Bank and to some extent Great Horton itself extend into neighbouring wards.
