Overview: Gursahaiganj is a city and a municipal board in Kannauj district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.

History: At the time of king of kannauj "Jai Chandra", this place used as a Stable. Its ancient name is 'Ebrahimabad' but at the time of 'Jai chandra' also known as 'Ghudsaraiganj'.

Market:- This place has a huge market to attract near territorial's mob. The oldest market is 'Ram Market' .

Education: There are many educational institute in town some of them Little Blossom Academy, City Montessery School, J.P. Education Center, Fazal memorial public school Krisna Convent School, K.C. Education Center, Madan Mohan Malviya Inter College, Aakash Education Center, Sarojni Devi Girls Inter College, Dr. Zakir Hussain Inter College. It has the junction of two roads ,one goes towards Farukhabad and one is GT road and it is surrounded by many villages like Panigama,Samdhan,Ismailpur etc and also Its one of the locality is Ramganj where municipality is situated.

Demographics

As of 2001 India census,[2] Gursahaiganj had a population of 35,752. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Gursahaiganj has an average literacy rate of 50%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 57%, and female literacy is 43%. In Gursahaiganj, 17% of the population is under 6 years of age.
