HMTV is a 24-hour Telugu news channel. It is owned by Hyderabad Media House Ltd. Editor-in-Chief of the channel is P.Venkatakrishna, renowned Journalist who worked with ETV,TV5 and 6TV.[1]
The channel shot to fame with its innovative show called "HMTV AP Dasa Disa" which holds discussion on the current situation of Andhra Pradesh. channel recognized for its perfection on breakings and not hyping any waste issues like celebrities personnel life. it is a rare quality among Telugu news channels and this is only channel which concentrated on tribals in AP. This channel not telecasting any crime remaking stories and sexual vulgar stories.
A news channel which try to make all regional disparities between states and which supports an Political Party in Telangana. On 15 July 2011, this channel started an English Daily "THE HANS INDIA".
