Harish Meena
Harish Chander Mina is a 1976 batch IPS officer and former Director General of Police (DGP) of state of Rajasthan in India. Currently he is the member of 16th Lok Sabha from Dausa. He served as DGP of Rajasthan from March 2009 to December 2013. He has also been awarded the 1996 Indian Police Medal and 2002 President Medal.
After retirement he entered politics and joined Bharatiya Janata Party. The party had fielded him from Dausa for 2014 Lok Sabha election. The Congress party has fielded his brother Namo Narain Meena against him. Namo Narain Meena had won 2009 election from adjoining constituency of Sawai Madhopur.[1]
