Synopsis

Hawak Ko Ang Langit is a compelling tale of love, deceit and revenge...

Lorena (Assunta de Rossi) is a public school teacher who lives a simple life and shares her knowledge to her students and at the same time, fulfills her obligations as a dutiful daughter to her ageing parents.

Complications in Lorena’s life, though, happened when she falls in love with the town’s rich boy, Julian (Jomari Yllana), who is likewise smitten by the girls for his looks and pleasant attitude in life. Julian’s tough mother and the mayoress of their town, Amapolla (Melanie Marquez) however does not approve of his sons affair with the poor Lorena.

But Julian fought for his love for Lorena and succeeded in wooing her to tie the knot with him. Unfortunately, a tragic event happened to Lorena that led to the death of her loved ones. She lost her teaching job too and worst—Julian succumbed to his mothers wishes and abandoned her.

After picking up the pieces, Lorena rose from the grave, embarks on a new life and begins tracking down the people that made her life miserable.
