Little Nanay (English: Little Mommy) is a Philippine family drama series broadcast by GMA Network starring Nora Aunor, Kris Bernal, Hiro Peralta, Chlaui Malayao, and Eddie Garcia along with Mark Herras, Juancho Trivino, Bembol Roco, Sunshine Dizon, Paolo Contis, Gladys Reyes and Keempee De Leon. It premiered on November 16, 2015 replacing My Faithful Husband on Beautiful Strangers' timeslot on the network's GMA Telebabad block, and also airing worldwide via GMA Pinoy TV.[1][2] After Marimar ended it was moved to Marimar's timeslot.

This light family drama serves as Aunor's first GMA regular teleserye and her reunion project with Bembol Roco after their 2012 Metro Manila Film Festival entry Thy Womb.

Plot

The story revolves between the families of Vallejo, San Pedro and Batongbuhay. Don Miguel Vallejo's eldest daughter becomes estranged after living with Rey Batongbuhay to whom she conceived a daughter named Tinay. Lorna left Tinay to her in-laws Annie and Berto Batongbuhay together with stepsons Peter and Bruce not knowing that an accident will leave them orphaned. Soon the Batongbuhays discovered Tinay's special condition and had her treated with no positive results.

Despite the challenges brought about by her condition, Tinay finds love and care through her grandparents Annie and Berto, half-brothers Peter and Bruce and childhood friend Archie whom she fondly calls "Super Nam" (an incorrect anagram of "Superman" which Archie gave to Tinay as code name). Tinay develops an attachment to Archie which she mistakens for love.

An incident where Tinay saw her half-brother Bruce making out with one of the neighborhood girls led her to discover "the birds and the bees" which Bruce described to her as an "exercise". Soon after, Tinay herself demonstrated the "exercise" to Archie in one of their regular playing days, which led to Archie having guilt feelings for letting it happen. But when Tinay later on confessed to her grandparents Annie and Berto that she and Archie did not have any clothes on after their "exercise", the grandparents were angry at Archie, forcing him to marry Tinay or face rape charges.

The married life of Archie and Tinay was not a bed of roses, as Archie felt he was not emotionally ready for everything. So with the help of his parents, they fled the neighborhood and migrated to the United States, leaving Tinay who later on discovers she is pregnant with Archie's child.

While various events unfold at Tinay's household starting with the birth of her daughter Chie-chie, Don Miguel Vallejo longs for the day his eldest daughter returns to him. But after seven fruitless years of search he calls off the search until he discovers that the necklace he gave to his daughter is with Tinay, his long-lost granddaughter.
