Herodias is a Duke of Hell formerly in the service of Geryon, in the Dungeons & Dragons roleplaying game.
Publication history
Herodias first appears in Ed Greenwood's article "The Nine Hells Part I" in Dragon #75 (1983).[1]
Herodias was briefly detailed in Fiendish Codex II: Tyrants of the Nine Hells (2006).[2]
Description
A scarlet bodied creature of massive build, Herodias appears strangely human otherwise, despite his sinister grin and his hooves.
Relationships
Herodias was a vassal of Geryon, serving Geryon as his magistrate. He is another survivor of the Wild Beast's court, driven into exile after the Reckoning of Hell, where he became one of the Rabble of Devilkin, an outcast Duke of Hell.
