Hvozd (German Fosslau) is a village and municipality (obec) in Plzeň-North District in the Plzeň Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 11.07 square kilometres (4.27 sq mi), and has a population of 248 (as at 3 July 2006).
Hvozd lies approximately 23 kilometres (14 mi) north of Plzeň and 85 km (53 mi) west of Prague.
