Elton John concert chronology

In 1985, Elton John set out to promote his latest album, Ice on Fire, with his band. The Ice on Fire Tour started in the fall of 1985^[1] and continued until October 1986,^[2] before Elton performed his Tour De Force with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra.

The UK performances were staged in rather small and intimate venues including the Manchester Apollo^[3] and Edinburgh Playhouse. The tour lasted for one-hundred twenty shows and covered eleven countries.
