Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics
Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics (IBB) is a research institute in Iran founded in 1976 to conduct research in biological sciences and related fields. It is affiliated with the University of Tehran and is located in its main campus.
The institute hosted many scientists from all over the world during last decades. Professor Kashi Javaherian (currently a senior scientist at Harvard Medical School) was among the researchers and lecturers of the Institute in the past.
IBB is a "UNESCO chair in Biology" and affiliated to TWAS.
