The New England Group 19 Rugby League competition is a Rugby League competition which is run under the auspices of NSWCRL. It is based in the New England area. It was originally called the Group 5 Rugby League Premiership but that competition merged with another local competition to form New England Group 19. At the conclusion of the 2013 season, the board of directors approved the applications for 2 new additional clubs to join the zone, the Moree Boars and the Goondiwindi Boars. This was attributed to the Moree Boars particularly poor 2013 season in Group 4 where they were on the receiving end of some big hidings. It is hoped the shift to Group 19 will improve the club and create a bit of cross-town rivalry with the much fancied Moree Boomerangs. Goondwindi were granted permission to leave the QRL which would see them leave the Toowoomba based competition and head south to challenge the mighty Boomerangs.

Moree Boomerangs were 2013 Club Champions, Minor Premiers in A Grade, Reserve Grade and under 18's and Major Premiers in A Grade and Under 18's. Moree Boomerangs Coach Christopher Binge has been named Group 19 Senior Coach in 2014.
