A Jazz waltz is a waltz in jazz style, thus played in a syncopated 3/4.

A few familiar jazz waltzes are: "My Favorite Things", "Jitterbug Waltz", Vince Guaraldi's "What Child Is This" (a.k.a.) "Greensleeves", and "Skating" from A Charlie Brown Christmas.^[1]
