Joe Thomas (born May 6, 1991) is an American football linebacker for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at South Carolina State University. He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Green Bay Packers in 2014.
Professional career
Green Bay Packers
On May 12, 2014, Thomas was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Green Bay Packers. On August 26, 2014, he was placed on injured reserve by the Packers. On November 3, 2014, he was signed to the Packers' practice squad. He was cut at the end of training camp in 2015,
Dallas Cowboys
On September 8, 2015, Thomas was signed to the Dallas Cowboys' practice squad.[1]
Second stint with the Packers
On September 21, 2015, Thomas was signed by the Packers off of the Dallas Cowboys' practice squad after a week two injury to Josh Boyd.[2][3]
