Ladarius Gunter is an American football cornerback who currently plays for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Miami.

Early years

Gunter attended Jefferson Davis High School in Montgomery, Alabama. He had 24 tackles through seven games with Fort Scott, including three tackles-for-loss, and also forced two fumbles and returned a interception 100 yards for touchdown. Gunter also competed in track & field at Jefferson and had a best of 22.9 seconds in the 200-meter dash.

Gunter was ranked as a three-star prospect at cornerback by Rivals.com and two-star prospect by Scout.com.

College career

Gunter attended Fort Scott Community College for two years before transferring to the University of Miami.[1][2] During his first year at Miami in 2012, Gunter played in 12 games with five starts.[3] He recorded 27 tackles and one interception.[4] As a junior in 2013, Gunter started all 13 games.[5] He finished with 46 tackles and three interceptions. As a senior in 2014 he again started all 13 games and had 28 tackles and two interceptions.
