John Paul II High School is a private Roman Catholic college preparatory high school in Plano, Texas. It is located in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Dallas. Their building is over 300,000 square feet (28,000 m2) and it can accommodate 1,200 students.
History
John Paul II High School’s mission is to develop leaders who are critical thinkers and effective communicators, committed to service and rooted in faith. The school, which is sponsored by the Diocese of Dallas, opened in 2005, the result of over 10 years of dedicated study of North Dallas, Collin County and surrounding areas.
John Paul II High School offers a coeducational high school education in a college-preparatory school environment.
The school is located in Plano, in a 300,000 square foot facility with presentation halls, science labs, music rehearsal space, band and orchestra space, a dance studio, two art studios, two gymnasiums, classrooms, and a dining hall. There is a football field and a track. The new east sports complex offers 8 tennis courts, a softball field, and a baseball field.

Sports
John Paul II High School has a history in athletics. Their basketball team went to the state championship in the 2013-2014 season, but lost to the defending champions Prestonwood Christian. The Men's Varsity Soccer team also has won back to back District Championships in 2013/14 and 2014/15. Their athletic program continues to show steady growth. [2] T [3]
