Kai Tak Station is an under construction railway station on the East West Corridor of the Shatin to Central Link. It is named after the former Kai Tak Airport. The station is located in the Kai Tak Development Area near the old east apron of the old Kai Tak Airport, and will provide access to the multi-purpose stadium and other facilities. Prior to this, the closest stations to the old Kai Tak airport were the Diamond Hill, Wong Tai Sin and Lok Fu stations.

The station has two levels: a concourse level above a lower level with an island platform. A topping-out ceremony was held on 16 July 2015 to mark completion of major civil works. It is the second Shatin to Central Link station to top out, after Hin Keng Station.[1]
