Lachie Whitfield (born 18 July 1994) is a professional Australian rules footballer who plays for the Greater Western Sydney Giants in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was the first overall selection in the 2012 AFL Draft.

He played in the TAC Cup for the Dandenong Stingrays.[1] He won the Larke Medal as the best player at the 2012 AFL Under 18 Championships.[2]

Growing up, he supported the Hawthorn Football Club.[3]
