Lawrence B. Banks was the sixth head football coach for Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas and he held that position for the 1901 season. His overall coaching record at Washburn was 3 wins, 2 losses, and 3 ties. This ranks him number 30th at Washburn in terms of total wins.[1] The son of Alexander and Jennie Banks,[2] Laurence Banks attended Washburn as a preparatory student from 1898 to 1900.[3]
He died in 1935 of a cerebral hemorrhage.[4]
