Lee Sung-jong (Hangul: 이성종; hanja: 李成種; born September 3, 1993), commonly known as Sungjong, is a South Korean singer. He is the vocalist of the South Korean boy band Infinite under Woollim Entertainment.[1] He is also the vocalist of Infinite F.[2]

Biography

Lee Sung-jong was born in Gwangju City, South Korea, on September 3, 1993. He graduated from Jeoju Arts High School on February 7, 2012, and is currently studying at Kongju University. He has a younger brother three years younger than him named Lee Seon-gyu.

Sungjong was first introduced as a vocalist of the boy band Infinite in 2010. His first appearance as a member was during Infinite's pre-debut reality show You Are My Oppa. The group official debuted in June 10, 2010[3]

Infinite F

Infinite F was officially announced during the One Great Step Returns encore concert and consists of members Sungyeol, L, and Sungjong. There, they performed the song "My Heart is Beating". The unit released their first song "I'm Going Crazy" in Infinite's 2nd album, "Season 2". On November 19, 2014, they made their official debut in Japan with their album, "Koi No Sign" and debuted in Korea with the single album, "Azure" on the 2nd of December, 2014.

Health

It was announced in 2014 that Sungjong received a diagnosis for hip imbalance, scoliosis and straight neck. He received 3D biomechanics prescription rehabilitation exercise treatment from Gangnam Choice Hospital.

Hair Colour

Sungjong, whose natural hair colour is black, has dyed his hair the most out of all the members. His hair was black during Infinite's debut; however, he dyed his hair blonde in January 2011 for the making and release of the music video for their song 'Before the Dawn (BTD)". He then dyed his hair light brown for the release of their first album "Over the Top" and successful single "Be Mine". His hair was dark brown- red for the music video of their Christmas song "White Confession".
