The savannah forest tree frog, Leptopelis bufonides, is a species of frog in the Arthroleptidae family found in Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Chad, Gambia, Ghana, Nigeria, and Senegal; its range may extend to several other African countries, although specimens have not been confirmed elsewhere.

Its natural habitats are dry savanna, subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, subtropical or tropical dry lowland grassland, subtropical or tropical seasonally wet or flooded lowland grassland, intermittent freshwater lakes, intermittent freshwater marshes, and pastureland.
