The Libertarian Party of Massachusetts is the Massachusetts affiliate of the Libertarian Party. In 2000 Carla Howell received 308,860 votes for 11.9% of the total vote (only 1% less than Republican). In 2002 Michael Cloud running for U.S. Senate received 369,807 votes for 16.7% of the vote in a 2-way race against the Democratic candidate.
