List of World Heritage Sites in Ukraine

Officially, there are seven World Heritage Sites sites in Ukraine. Saint-Sophia Cathedral and Related Monastic Buildings, Kiev-Pechersk Lavra are registered as one entry; however, they are traditionally shown as two separate sites.

Notes

This UNESCO World Heritage Sites includes two biosphere reserves: Carpathian Biosphere Sanctuary and the southern half of East Carpathian Biosphere Reserve (Poloniny National Park and Uzhok National Park) as well some protected Presov areas in the eastern Slovakia.

Tentative List

Ukraine has fifteen submissions on the tentative list. One of the submissions is an extension of the existing site of Kiev's historical monuments. Mykolayiv Astronomical Observatory has been submitted in 2007, but in 2008 it has been resubmitted as a part of Astronomical Observatories of Ukraine
