However Grand King Ghidorah descended upon the Earth again during a meteor shower, seeking to use the planet's children as a new source of life, but eventually began going after adults as well. Grand King Ghidorah transported his prey to an enormous pulsating dome that he hid within the Fuji forest. Mothra Leo showed up to fight against the monster, but was completely overpowered. Knowing he had no chance of beating Grand King Ghidorah now, Leo managed to transport himself back in time to face Cretaceous King Ghidorah and apparently defeated it. However one of the space demon's tails was cut off in the fight and burrowed into the Earth, regenerating into a new Grand King Ghidorah that appeared on the day that the first one had. Meanwhile Leo was on the point of death after the battle, but was encased in a cocoon by a trio of ancient armored Mothra caterpillars. However the space demon soon found opposition as the ancient cocoon that Mothra Leo had been encased in opened, releasing the far more powerful Armor Mothra. Monster X/Kaiser Ghidorah | Godzilla: Final Wars | Godzilla ventured deep into the heart of Tokyo, seeking out an evil from another world. An alien civilization, known as the Xiliens, were attempting to conquer Earth, and Godzilla was the last hope of a dying people. As the gargantuan guardian continued to approach the mothership, an ancient asteroid known as Gorath was approaching the planet at high speed. When Godzilla noticed the meteor, the nuclear behemoth fired his atomic ray. After a few moments, a huge explosion enveloped the celestial body, turning the once shining metropolis into a desolate graveyard. Godzilla stood amidst the wreckage, in the center of an immense crater. As he looked on, he witnessed the arrival of his greatest challenge yet. It was Monster X, and in the vast ruins of Tokyo, the two beasts began to battle savagely, with neither gaining a clear advantage. Luckily, assistance would soon arrive for the forces of good. Mothra, the winged guardian, arrived to thwart Monster X's attempts to destroy Godzilla. The living tapestry of colors was forced to deal with the Xiliens' newest weapon, however. A fully modified Gigan appeared, and it rendered Mothra unconscious as it began to assist Monster X in Godzilla's defeat. Soon thereafter, Mothra returned to the fray and began to assist Godzilla. She fought Gigan, and in the midst of their battle, both were killed. Only Godzilla and Monster X were left standing. Beams were exchanged, and the city erupted in a roaring conflagration. Godzilla rose to his feet amongst the flames, as Monster X began to reveal his true identity. In truth, Monster X was a titanic, three-headed space dragon known as Keizer Ghidorah. The final battle for the fate of the planet had only just begun. As the Xiliens' reign of terror was finally coming to the close, the showdown between Godzilla and Keizer Ghidorah had just begun. It appeared as though Godzilla was going to procure an immediate advantage, but the space demon turned out to be much stronger than anticipated. Its three gravity beams tore into Godzilla and knocked the proud creature to the ground. Godzilla was dragged across the entire city by the saffron streaks of lightning, and Keizer Ghidorah proceeded to sink its teeth into the gargantuan guardian, absorbing the very life force out of Godzilla. It appeared as though Keizer Ghidorah would soon become the new monster king; it appeared as though Earth would soon suffer the full wrath of this terrible tyrant! Humankind had something to say about it, however. The Gotengo charged and fired a beam at Godzilla. This was no ordinary beam, however. Godzilla was given the power of Keizer, an ancient energy procured from the Xiliens that would give extraordinary abilities to whomever possessed it. With this power, Godzilla was able to send a pulse of energy throughout its body, releasing Keizer Ghidorah's tight grip. The revived reptile fired his atomic ray at Keizer Ghidorah's middle head, causing it to explode! The cunning creature forced the hateful hydra's right head to send a gravity beam scorching into its left, leaving the grotesque dragon mangled and maimed. The limp body of the once tyrannical titan was hurled into the sky, and a hyper spiral ray followed. The motionless body flew far into the atmosphere and erupted into a million pieces. Godzilla roared in victory, for this awful oppressor was finally defeated. |

Mizunoeryu | Ultraman Gaia | In a park one sunny day a dragon-like kaiju head statue spoke to the mind of a woman named Miyumi. She was given a message that the Dragon Of The Waters would come to attack and tried to tell KCB only for them to not take it seriously. According to Miyumi the dragon's name is Mizunoeryu and was at one time the ruler of what was now modern day Tokyo. Minutes afterwards several blue serpentine dragons appeared in water systems around the city, starting panics and traffic jams. XIG's computers picked it up just seconds later after they appeared. Once the source of the dragons was found XIG sent Team Hercules to the scene. As Team Hercules made its way into the sewer system the clouds darkened and gathered around the city, giving it a creepy green color to it. Team Hercules makes it to the source where they find a pool of water with jagged rocks and where three dragons made themselves known. The two creatures exchanged projectiles, but once Team Hercules used its Ultimate Napalm, victory seemed certain. A few missile grenades were launched to seal the entrance to the dragons' lair, hoping it would end their reign of terror for good, but they were wrong. Mizunoeryu made his true face known and once Team Hercules made a futile attempt to assault his face the water dragon kaiju used a couple forehead flashes to blast them to the surface. Once the creature created fountains of red water Gamu turned into Ultraman Gaia to fight him. Gaia was easily out matched in close quarters as the Mizunoeryu proved his weight and tails were too much to handle. Gaia used a Quantum Stream only for it to have little effect and as he was about to use a Photon Edge, the Mizunoeryu's tails fired electric bolts from their tails, bringing him down. As Gaia recovered the hydra kaiju held him in the air defenseless. Team Hercules tried to use Missile Grenades only for a force field made of water to stop the projectiles and more electric bolts to make sure they wouldn't interfere again. The XIG members then got out of their vehicle and began to shoot their pistol's into the Mizunoeryu's left eye, forcing him to release Gaia. Miyumi knew Gaia's intentions and when his Life Gauge went off she convinced the Mizunoeno Dragon to reconsider. Mizunoeryu did reconsider as he now knew Gaia's intentions were good and reverted into a small flying ball that went back underground. |

After a long mid-air fight, The Ultra Garrison struck Narse's tail, causing the mechanical dragon to fall to the ground. Narse quickly turned his body into its saucer form. After the Ultra Garrison destroyed Alien Wild as it tried to escape Earth, Narse, now out of control attacked the Ultra Garrison relentlessly. Luckily, Ultraseven showed up, being freed after Alien Wild was destroyed and he chased after Narse into a region where they could not harm the Ultra Garrison. Narse put up a tricky fight against Ultra Seven, spinning around him several times making the Ultra dizzy. Suddenly with Ultra Seven dazed, Narse coiled around him and tried to squeeze the life out of Ultra Seven. Using her stories as bait, the businessmen used her words as rumor, transforming Natsunomeryu's legend into a Loch-Ness Monster-esque manhunt, with DASH as one of the searchers. These action inadvertently transformed the girl and Natsunomeryu's land into the tourist nightmare she feared. Now with his land ravaged with greed and blind ambition, Natsunomeryu awoke and furiously attacked the village he once protected, which was now populated with tourists. Not wanting to see anyone harmed, Kaito transformed into Ultraman Max and quickly put out the dragon's flames with the Icing Wave shortly after incapacitating Natsunomeryu. The Dragon and the Ultra then locked in battle with Max having the upper hand. However just as it seemed Max was about to finish off Natsunomeryu with his Maximum Cannon, he was stopped by the girl whom had protected the dragon's land. Grigori | Dragon's Dogma | An enormous red dragon who gruesomely tears out the heart of the "chosen one" who is known as an Arisen and steals it in Dragon's Dogma. The Arisen is destined to destroy the dragon to regain his/her heart. He takes refuge in the Tainted Mountain, waiting for the current Arisen to challenge him. He and his dragon apprentices appear without warning, ferociously terrorizing villages and the people of Cassardis. There isn't enough evidence to make any sort of theory about the dragons’ purpose. It's possible to think that the dragons are fulfilling some sort of role or duty. |
Grima | Fire Emblem Awakening | Also known as the "fell dragon," Grima is the manifestation of the corrupted earth dragon tribe seeking the genocide of all living creatures. When Grima threatens to destroy the entire world, she changes time itself to help the army of heroes stop the impending holocaust. Even with her divine intervention, the conflict quickly becomes more complex than anyone could have imagined. She had not prevented the world-ending threat like she had hoped, but with her interference, she manages to give mankind a fighting chance against impossible odds. |

Ridley | Metroid | Throughout the series, Ridley has made a variety of changes in his appearance. He was originally roughly the same size of protagonist Samus Aran in the original Metroid title. In Super Metroid, he is significantly larger than in the original title, sporting purple skin, a large wingspan, glowing eyes, claws, and resembling a dragon or a pterodactyl. His Prime series cyborg form is referred to as Meta Ridley, while a robotic duplicate, Ridley Robot,[5] is also shown in Zero Mission. The instruction manual for the original Metroid refers to Ridley as the last of his species, which was native to Zebes. He appears to be sentient, and is even capable of speech, as evidenced in the Metroid manga. His trophy description in Super Smash Bros. Melee confirms Ridley's gender as male. Series creator suggests that he was made the general of the Space Pirates due to how evil he is or how powerful he is. Both Ridley and Meta Ridley appear in Super Smash Bros. Brawl as bosses that that player has to defeat. |
Necrosan | Primal Rage | A deathly, zombie-like dragon with no skin to cover his muscular structure. Little is known about Necrosan other than his design, given that he was going to debut in the sequel to Primal Rage, which ended up being cancelled. However, we do know that he is the God of Death, and supposedly controls massive amounts of the undead as an army rather than the typical natives that willingly worshipped the other Gods. He also supposedly hatches from the "asteroid" which causes the Catyclisms. |
Seath the Scaleless | Dark Souls | An albino dragon who helped Gwyn, Nito, and the Witch of Izalith destroy the everlasting dragons. Seath was born without the everlasting scales, making him mortal and an outcast. After the fall of the everlasting dragons he founded sorcery which sparked animosity between him and Havel the Rock. He resides in the Duke's Archives and the crystal caves where he researches and protects the Primordial Crystal. |

Volvagia | The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time | A corrupt dragon who used to sleep inside the Fire Temple. Ganondorf, woke and unleashed it after he became the evil king of Hyrule. In the Manga, it is said that Link once was friend with Volvagia (at that time being a small hatchling) and rescued him from a bazaar where it was kept in a small cage. Volvagia then saved Links life and both became good friends, but soon had to go different ways. |
