Live at the BBC (Slade album)
Live at the BBC is a 2009 compilation album released by Slade.[1] The first disc comprises various songs recorded for BBC sessions between 1969 to 1972 and Radio 1 jingles recorded in 1973 and 1974, while the second disc contains songs recorded live at the Paris Theatre, London, in August 1972.[2]
Upon release, Classic Rock stated "For those who regard Slade as nothing more than a ’70s hit machine, Live At The BBC (Union Square) is gonna be a right old shock. This is Slade before the hits, a raw, rocking high paced crew. But then, if you ever saw them live, you’ll know how good this lot were – one of the best."[3]
