Publication history

Lenard Lakofka created Llerg.

Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 1st edition (1977-1988)

Llerg was first detailed for the Dungeons & Dragons game in the World of Greyhawk Fantasy Game Setting (1983), by Gary Gygax.[1]

Llerg was further detailed by Lenard Lakofka in Dragon #89 (1984), in the article "Gods of the Suel Pantheon III."[2]

Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 2nd edition (1989-1999)

Llerg was one of the deities described in the From the Ashes set (1992), for the Greyhawk campaign.[3]

Llerg is described as one of the good deities that celestials can serve in the supplement Warriors of Heaven (1999).[4]

Llerg is further detailed in The Scarlet Brotherhood (1999).[5]

Dungeons & Dragons 3.0 edition (2000-2002)

Llerg's role in the 3rd edition Greyhawk setting was defined in the Living Greyhawk Gazetteer (2000).[6]

Dungeons & Dragons 3.5 edition (2003-2007)

His priesthood is detailed for this edition in Complete Divine (2004).[7]

Description

Llerg is depicted as a powerful, bearded, shaggy-haired man dressed in furs and a fighting girdle, or as a huge bear, snake, or alligator. These three animals are sacred to him, and their representations are his holy symbols.

Relationships

Llerg is an ally of Vatun, has a friendly rivalry with Kord, and is an enemy of Telchur.
