Longhua Subdistrict

Longhua Subdistrict (Chinese: 龙华街道; pinyin: Lónghuá Jiēdào) is one of the ten subdistricts comprising Bao'an District, Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China. But since 30 December 2011, in fact it was a part of Longhua New District.

Formerly, the territory of today's Longhua Subdistrict was part of Longhua Town. In 2004, Longhua Town was abolished, and its territory was divided into 3 currently existing subdistricts (jiedao): Longhua Subdistrict, Minzhi (民治) Subdistrict, and Dalang (大浪) Subdistrict.

Industry

Foxconn Technology Group, the world's largest electronics contract manufacturer has its largest factory precinct in Longhua, employing hundreds of thousands of workers in 15 factories.

Transportation

The area is served by the Longhua Line of Shenzhen Metro.
