Malachi Richardson (born January 5th, 1996) is an American basketball player. He played college basketball for the Syracuse Orange.
Richardson attended Trenton Catholic Academy his freshman year, then spent his sophomore year at Roselle Catholic High School before returning to Trenton Catholic Academy for his junior and senior years. In his his high school career ar Trenton Catholic Academy[1] Malachi scored a total 1245 points averaging 9.3 in his freshman, 19.2 points in his junior year and 18.7 in his senior year of highschool. At Roselle Catholic in his sophomore year Malachi would score 429 averaging 15.3 points a game, he would also win NJSIAA's Tournament of Champions for boys basketball.
As a freshman at the University of Syracuse, Richardson averaged 13.4 points, 2.1 assists and 4.3 rebounds per game. After the season, he entered the 2016 NBA Draft, but did not sign with an agent allowing him to return to Syracuse if he chooses.[2][3]
