Master of Evil is the fifth studio album by American hip hop artist DJ Paul, released on October 30, 2015. This serves as DJ Paul's debut album under Psychopathic Records[1] and Sony RED. The album features guest appearances from former Three 6 Mafia member Juicy J, Violent J of Insane Clown Posse, Yelawolf, Billy Wes, Lil Wyte and two posthumous verses from former Three 6 Mafia/Da Mafia 6ix member Lord Infamous.
Background
First word on the album was heard in the official artwork for The Killjoy Club's debut album Reindeer Games, stating the title of the album, and that it would be released "soon" through Psychopathic Records.
Throughout 2015, DJ Paul has posted updates about the album saying that it may be the best work he has ever done, stating that he incorporated more of an old school sound as well as more dark elements into the album per request of his fans. He also stated that he made the album so that it sounds like an old record to give it more of an old school, horrorcore feel.[2] Further details including the official artwork and tracklist were released September 18, 2015. In an interview, DJ Paul stated that he recorded the album in two weeks.
This is the first DJ Paul studio album to feature a guest appearance from his longtime Three 6 Mafia mate Juicy J since their split back in 2011.
