Mira is an unincorporated community in Champaign County, Illinois, United States. Mira is southeast of Urbana and near the city's border. Mira was named for Myra Silver, as was a nearby subdivision, Myra Ridge.
There is one house in Mira, at the northeast corner of High Cross Road (Illinois Route 130) and Windsor Road. There used to be a grain elevator on the Champaign branch of the Norfolk and Western Railroad until 1986, when it was razed to make way for Illinois 130 extension to US 150.
