Mirza Tahir is a village and Union Council of Gujrat District, in the Punjab province of Pakistan. It is part of Kharian Tehsil and is located at 30°30′0″N 72°5′0″E / 30.50000°N 72.08333°E / 30.50000; 72.08333Coordinates: 30°30′0″N 72°5′0″E / 30.50000°N 72.08333°E / 30.50000; 72.08333 altitude. It is the second richest village in Tehsil Kharian. The people of the village are very energetic, hardworking and honest. the main source of livelihood of the people is agriculture but majority of the persons are living in abroad.

Population of the village is mostly mughal 4000 ratio the male and female is 40% and 60%. Mirza Tahir having a high school-Govt High school Mirza Tahir and a Girls elementary high school. A poorly equipped medical centre also there that provides basic health facilities to general public. Students of this village are very intelligent and hardworking and getting advance education in various universities, but most end up going abroad to support their families.
